• We study the windows and doors to identify air leaks (coming in or going out) which reduce heating and cooling efficiency.
• We check each room individually for overall efficiency and comfort. Temperature readings are taken in each room.
• We check your combustion systems (heat and hot water) for proper efficiency and safety.
• We measure the insulation levels in your attic.
• We use infrared camera studies to determine where air leaks are occurring and to evaluate the insulation levels in your walls.
• We use a “blower door” to determine your home’s air changes per hour and make suggestions regarding indoor air quality.
• We give you suggestions to reduce your electricity consumption

When the audit is complete, we identify areas of improvement that will help you reduce energy costs and be more comfortable in your home.
